These four wineries are close to San Francisco and have a great mix of wine and atmosphere. If you want a short trip to wine country where you can return to the city by mid-afternoon, this is the trail for you!
Winery Stops 
One of the closest wineries to San Francisco, the setting is beautiful and I enjoyed the Italian wines and olive oil tasting.
A true specialist in Pinot Noir. A small, simple tasting room but the wines will impress.
One of the most picturesque wineries in Sonoma. The wines are very high quality as well.
Another nice property with a good lineup of reds - you can finish your tasting with port and chocolate.
