11/13/2009Franciscan is a great low to mid tier winery. They have just enough quality and complexity to attract the more educated palette without being intimidating or unapproachable. Their level of quality is good overall and they blend to the grape but also product continuity. Their Meritage wines are outstanding and their Chardonnay is not bed either!
