I like the wine but the tasting room and the shopping is all in the same place and it is very loud and busy. They could use some change or isolate the tasting room for a more peaceful atmosphere. Other than that I really love the winery and the wines.

We had the best wine tasting at V. Sattui. The room was so alive with so many people. Service was excellent. We couldn't resist buying their best tasting wines and their seal openers (even if they were expensive!!). It was worth the trip. The deli corner looked so yummy! We would love to go back there again!

This winery is the ideal location for lunch during your visit! Gourmet shop gives you a lot of options and outdoor picnic area cannot be beat. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the crowd who flocks here knows why they are there...i.e. not for the wine. And when planning a day of tastings, this represents a nice break from the traditional schedule of events.

Voted best Winery in the Western US for a reason! Grab a blanket and some snacks from the Dean and Deluca across the street or the market inside the winery along with a few bottles of the Sauvignon Blanc Vintage 2007 which is amazing on a hot summer day (and earned 91 points on the Connoiseurs' Guide, Wine Spectator). The wine is excellent and the atmosphere is equally enjoyable. You can picnic for hours on their grounds along with other families, couples and friends. A definite 'must visit' on your next trip!
